We live in a world where we are inundated with images of crime and injustice. Our nation spends billions annually on crime response and prevention. Unfortunately, public policies, programs and attempted solutions to our crime problem are too frequently driven by media imagery and public scares, rather than empirical reality. It is our departmental mission to contribute to ensuring humane, just, and effective crime and justice policies, programs and practices by providing our students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become informed citizens and effective agents of justice. The society will not get any monetary gain from the criminal case. In criminal case the court will sentence the accused to imprisonment if they are found guilty. Nothing more will happen. 2. The society cannot withdraw the case. The only remedy for the accused is to move the High Court for quashing of the charges. Charges will not be quashed on the mere ground that the society has nothing to gain from the criminal case. 3. If the case has not been fully investigated then the accused can move to High Court for a free and fair investigation. The quashing of case can be sought since there is a delay in the disposal thereof. High Court will decide whether to quash or sustain the case. 4. Criminal Girls Invitation

Criminal Girls Invitation is a management/training simulator developed by imageepoch for the PlayStation Vita. It puts the player in charge of a group of girls banished to a prison in hell, with the goal of rehabilitating and training them into warriors capable of making it through the tower leading out of the netherworld. The game is an enhanced port of Criminal Girls for the PSP, featuring new characters, additional story scenarios, more voiceovers, new gameplay elements, and general tweaks and re-balancing.  The game came out in Japan on November 28, 2013, and will be released by NIS America in the west. LYNCH The Department of Criminology

  LYNCH is professor and former chair of the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Maryland. Lynch joined the department after serving as the director of the Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS) in the United States Department of Justice. Previously, he was a distinguished professor in the Department of Criminal Justice at John Jay College, City University of New York. He was a professor in the Department of Justice, Law and Society at American University from 1986 to 2005 and chair of that department from 2003 to 2005. Lynch's research focuses on victim surveys, victimization risk, the role of coercion in social control, and crime statistics. He has published four books and numerous articles many of them dealing with crime statistics. He was vice president-elect of the American Society of Criminology (ASC) and served on the Committee on Law and Justice Statistics of the American Statistical Association.
